July - Introducing Meg Patey
Clay Tableware & Homewares Online Handmade by Australian Studio Potters
Welcome to Living Clay Australia - we support Australian Potters creating beautiful, handmade clay tableware, clay homewares and clay kitchenware. Our aim is to create easy access for you to view and buy some of Australia’s most beautiful, useful pottery pieces, which have been hand crafted by the talented potters and ceramists who specialise in making practical pots.
We work directly with individual Australian artists and studio potters, not large mass producing factories, which means that the way we do business has to be a little different so please take a few moments to read our ’Doing Business with Living Clay’ page before placing an order. We also commission special pieces either for special gifts, home projects or for commercial, corporate or government awards.
Almost all of the photography on this website has been created by Greg Piper of Greg Piper Image Solutions who is very talented and in great demand from Australian artists, ceramists and others involved in the visual arts. With his help we plan to create an ever changing showcase of individual pottery pieces, so if you are a lover of hand crafted, unique pottery, then please visit us regularly to find out what’s new. We will also update our Facebook page and publish a regular blog as well as a regular "meet the potter "feature to introduce you to some of the talented Australian potters and artists and the work behind their art.
