Useful Links

Whilst we are out on our "Pottery to the People" events such as markets and fairs, we are often asked about general information on the Pottery industry in Australia, so to avoid giving out inaccurate information and to provide a central reference point in the future, we have decided to start compiling some useful facts and links on this page that our website visitors can refer to when in search of pottery facts.

We will focus on two key areas; (1) the names and locations of the major galleries in Australia that regularly display ceramics and pottery and (2) pottery cooperatives and clubs where you can access resources such as kilns and clay specific work spaces close to where you live. This page will be an ongoing work in progress task- we will add, change and delete information as we locate it, so it will be constantly changing.

Please note - This is not THE definitive list. It is merely a list of information we have collected and collated. There may be errors or omissions, so please check each entry out carefully and source information from other sources such as The Australian Ceramics Association.

Where possible please let us know of anything you find that we need to change or delete. This is a community resource which relies on the cooperation and collaboration of everyone.
