Directions

Train

Travel to Waverton station on the North Shore Line then turn right when you come out of the station an walk. It's approximately 7 minutes walk from Waverton station. There are road signs directing you to Coal Loader.

By Car

From the North: Travel via the Pacific Highway towards North Sydney, then right into Bay Rd.  At traffic lights, Drive for for approx 1.5 kms to Balls Head Drive. The Coal Loader Centre is on the right almost at the bottom of that drive.
From the South: Cross the Harbour Bridge and take the Pacific highway exit to North Sydney. Follow the Pacific Highway for approximately 1.5kms until you get to Bay Rd. Turn left into Bay Road then Drive for for approx 1.5 kms to Balls Head Drive. The Coal Loader Centre is on the right almost at the bottom of that drive.

Parking

Limited parking is available in nearby streets including Balls Head Drive and Waterhen Drive. Parking is also permitted in designated areas inside the adjacent Balls Head Reserve. Most of these parking areas are not time restricted but please read signs carefully.
